About TANTYDENIM

What I need to understand before we start sampling

I’m Summer, the point of contact at TANTYDENIM in Guangzhou. We work with brands that need help turning a denim idea into something a production partner can actually sample, check and reproduce.

You do not need to arrive with a perfect tech pack. A reference image, sketch, existing garment or partial specification is enough for a first review. What matters is knowing which decisions are already fixed and which are still open.

Before sampling, I usually look at the things that will create trouble later if they stay vague: fabric weight and stretch, rise and proportion, wash direction, pocket position, stitching, hardware, labels and packaging. Our custom denim development process explains how those decisions are moved from a brief into an approved sample.

GUANGZHOU PRODUCTION SEARCH

Looking for a denim factory in Guangzhou?

TANTYDENIM is not a single factory. We are a Guangzhou-based denim development and production coordination partner working with selected manufacturing partners in the local supply chain.

If you are comparing Guangzhou denim production options, we can help review the product, quantity, wash and construction requirements first, then coordinate a suitable production route.

The work is mostly about making decisions in the right order

We develop women’s and men’s jeans, jackets, shirts, shorts, skirts and coordinated denim pieces. The category changes, but the development problem is usually the same: one decision affects the next one.

A pocket can look correct on a flat drawing and still sit wrong after the rise or hip changes. A wash can change the hand feel and finished measurements. A trim that looks fine before washing may not behave the same way afterwards. That is why I prefer to review fit, fabric, wash and construction together instead of treating them as separate checkboxes.

You can see the main product routes on our custom denim categories page.

Where TANTYDENIM fits into the process

Some clients come with a complete tech pack and mainly need production coordination. Others have a clear design direction but still need help resolving fit, wash, construction or trim details. We handle both situations.

Standard MOQ is 50 pcs per style and colour. Trial orders from 30 pcs per style and colour may be reviewed depending on fabric availability, wash, trims, construction and size breakdown. Mixed sizes are available; final quantities are confirmed case by case. For projects where a comparison is useful, we may arrange sampling with two or three production partners and compare workmanship, wash execution and how closely each sample follows the brief before deciding which route is stronger for the project.

The goal is not to approve a sample because it is “close enough.” We want the approved sample to make the next production decision clearer: what measurement is fixed, what wash appearance is accepted, what trim is approved and which revision is the current reference.

Our Factory & Quality page shows how we think about sample review, quality checks and production coordination.

Who you will work with and what to verify

Your contact: Summer Tan, TANTYDENIM, Guangzhou, China. TANTYDENIM coordinates denim development and suitable manufacturing partners around the requirements of each project.

Before making a payment: ask Summer to confirm the contracting legal name, quotation or invoice details and payment beneficiary for your project. Request business-registration information for verification and clarify any difference between the brand name, contracting party and beneficiary before you proceed.

Production, sample and quality-control images show the work being discussed. They do not by themselves establish factory ownership, an independent audit or approval for a new order. Factory access and any requested verification documents need to be checked for the actual project.

What to send first

For an initial review, send whatever already exists: a tech pack, reference image, sketch or sample garment. Add your target quantity, size range, market, preferred fit and wash direction if you know them.

If some information is missing, I would rather identify that early than pretend the brief is complete. A full tech pack is useful, but it is not required before we can tell you what still needs to be decided.

OEM, ODM or a mix of both

If your measurements, construction and materials are already defined, the work is closer to OEM: the main job is following the specification and controlling revisions.

If you have the product direction but still need help choosing fabric, adjusting fit or working out construction, the project is closer to ODM development.

Many real projects sit between those two. The brand may control the silhouette and branding while we help resolve production feasibility, wash, trim or sample comments. We treat that as a hybrid development route rather than forcing the project into a label.

Sampling is where most problems should be found

Sampling timing depends on the garment, material readiness, wash work and how many revisions are needed. We confirm a development schedule after reviewing the actual brief rather than quoting one fixed lead time for every project.

If you are budgeting a first development round, see our denim sample cost and development process.

What we check before bulk approval

For jeans, I do not look at the waist measurement in isolation. Rise, hip shape, inseam, leg opening and pocket placement all affect how the garment reads on body. Wash appearance, seams, topstitching, closures, hardware and labels also need to match the approved reference.

Once a point has been approved, revision control matters. The factory and the brand should be working from the same current sample comments, measurements and approved details rather than from different versions of the brief.

Your files stay inside the project team

Tech packs, measurements, design files, pricing and other project material are not public content. They are only shared with TANTYDENIM and the relevant production-partner personnel who need them to work on your project.

We do not use customer-confidential material as a public case study without separate permission.

Who this works best for

We usually work with fashion brands, retailers and buying or product teams that need custom development rather than stock garments. That includes early-stage brands building a first denim program and more development-ready teams that already have technical specifications.
