Increasing the waist measurement without reviewing the hip, rise and crotch shape can make the jean unstable or change how it hangs on the body.

How does washing affect a low-rise baggy fit?

Yes. Development can include custom jean buttons, rivets, zippers, labels, leather or alternative patches, care labels, hangtags and packaging.
Pocket shape, stitching direction and exterior branding can also be reviewed as part of the product brief.
