Custom denim jackets

How should fabric be selected for different denim categories?
The same denim fabric is not automatically suitable for every garment category.
Jeans often need a fabric that balances structure, comfort, stretch or recovery with the intended fit. Jackets may need more body or a softer drape depending on the silhouette. Skirts and shorts can require a different balance of structure, movement and wash performance.
Fabric weight, construction, stretch, recovery, shrinkage and handfeel should therefore be reviewed against the actual product rather than selected only by fibre composition.

How should wash direction be selected across a collection?
A coordinated collection may use one wash family across several garments, but the finished effect can look different depending on construction, seam placement, fabric weight and garment shape.
Each product should therefore be reviewed for overall shade, fading placement, seam contrast, handfeel, shrinkage and finished measurements.

How should trims and branding be planned?
Buttons, rivets, zippers, labels, patches and packaging can be coordinated across a collection to create a consistent brand identity.
However, each garment may require different dimensions, attachment methods or functional components.
